Bell Foundry Company, founded in 1923, has operated on its current site in the middle of the Greater Los Angeles basin since 1927. The company has continued to make the capital investments needed to meet the processing, quality, cost and environmental requirements of the market place. Bell’s experienced work force is dedicated to delivering the highest level of engineering, production, and customer satisfaction.
Throughout its history, Bell has produced high quality, sand-mold iron castings for industrial, commercial and automotive customers. Today, automatic molding machines are used to make gray and ductile castings poured in multiple ASTM and SAE grades.
The aluminum foundry operations are run on independent equipment in separate locations from the iron foundry. Green sand and dry-sand molding equipment, plus permanent mold machines, produce castings used by nearly every type of manufacturer.
Bell Foundry’s ISO-9001:2015 Certified Machine Shop currently runs eight vertical CNC Mills with 4-Axis capabilities. Holding tolerances of less than 0.001” on production runs, Bell Foundry machines most steels, aluminums and cast iron. Fixture design and fabrication are all done in-house for each part.
