Two modern sand recovery, processing and delivery systems, one for each of our iron and aluminum operations, supply all molding stations. The quality of the foundry's green sand and all core sands are continually checked using chemical analysis and physical property test methods.


 Automated production controls assure consistent sand preparation, melt temperatures and mold compaction. During finishing, and cleaning operations, castings are subjected to multiple visual and dimensional inspections.

 Hardness, chemical, metallographic and dye penetrant examinations of the finished castings are routinely performed in-house. When required, tensile tests, radiographic and other nondestructive tests are contracted to several local certified labs.
